What we do from Frontliners TV.
The Tree of Valor is a traveling pictorial exhibit honoring our nation’s protectors of the past and present. One tree created to honor one son grew into a forest to honor a nation. Since 2019, we have been displaying photos of our nation’s warriors on evergreen trees, & in Dec 2022 became a nonprofit. It’s our job to help you remember in a way you won’t forget. Our mission is simple. If you are worth fighting for, they are worth remembering. If you have protected this country in the military, in law enforcement, or as a first responder, or in any other official capacity, The Tree of Valor has a place saved for you.
We take our troop covered trees from Sea to Shining Sea because we believe there is no place in America that doesn’t need to be reminded that freedom isn’t free. We take requested collections of the tribute to events large and small. Whether to VFW Conventions or to local a veterans coffee, a suicide awareness event, or to the celebrations of 100 year old veterans, each one counts. We also deploy to Main Street America. We look for commercial real estate where a tribute, large or small, can be displayed in empty windows or businesses. The mission is to find the veteran who feels forgotten. Let him or her find that window and that business that they now know has NOT forgotten them.
Although we have a forest of approximately 150 trees from 12” to 12’, we simply started with one tree. It was an artificial Christmas tree put up in October 2018 so our son could have a surprise Christmas before leaving on deployment in the Marines. That tree was then covered in photos made into wooden mementos. The pictures were of family and friends who had served. We wanted him to know the story he was part of. This is the reason our project is called “The Tree of Valor“ & not Trees of Valor. We never want to forget why we started.
